Mithuna (Gemini) 60ฐ to 90ฐ
Kataka (Cancer) 90ฐ to120ฐ

The entire zodiac comprises of 27 nakshatras or stars. Each nakshatra extends over 13 degrees and 20 minutes (13ฐ 20’) of the zodiac with each pada or quarter of a nakshatra spread over 3 degrees and 20 minutes (3ฐ 20’). It can be inferred that each rashi or zodiac sign carries 9 nakshatra, padas or quarters.
Jyotishya shaastra states that each nakshatra name corresponds to a group of stars called star mansions or asterisms. The concept is that Chandra or Moon visits these mansions in its trajectory around earth. This also corresponds to the lunar month and the time taken by the moon to complete a revolution around the Zodiac.
